A Prop 8 Supporter Live Here

Today was a momentous occasion in California history.  Prop 8 was argued in front of the California Supreme Court.

Supporters on both sides agreed that Ken Starr presented a very logical and clear explanation of the legal reasoning behind the people’s right to amend our constitution.

Across the board, the consensus was also that the No on 8 side floundered and stumbled along the way and relied more on the “It’s not fair” argument which is popular with the SNL crowd, but fails to sway justices 99.999% of the time.

Meanwhile, the law in Calfornia currently reads as follows:

SEC. 7.5.  Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or
recognized in California.

On March 5th, the California Supreme Court will hear arguments on Proposition 8. Only four months after seven million Californians voted to amend the California Constitution to read “Marriage is between a Man and a Woman”, 7 justices will decide if this will be our law.

Ken Starr (of Bill Clinton’s impeachment trial) leads the Prop 8 side and is expected to show all of the legal reasons why this was approved by California’s Attorney General, Jerry Brown, and placed on last November’s ballot.

Shannon Minter, a transsexual attorney for the National Center for Lesbian Rights will argue that “its not fair.”

However, no matter what happens and regardless of the outcome, there are immutable facts which will remain.

1 – Marriage was instituted by God. No matter your religion (or lack thereof), all roots trace marriage back to a religious institution. It always have and always will be a divine ordinance in God’s eyes.

2 – Nothing that is said in front of, or done by, the California Supreme Court, will change the facts of Marriage. Marriage will continue to be a Religious Principle that has been accepted and codified by the laws of man.

In light of these two tenets, people may protest the decision of the court, legislatures may enact additional laws and pass future referendums, and courts may continue to pass judgements as time marches on.

None of these will change the Divine Nature of Marriage.

This cannot be refuted any more than one can argue against the Laws of Physics. In the end, gravity wins.

Think about it. You have time.

There are sadder stories in Africa than that of Nigeria, however, the AIDS / HIV epidemic that has reared its ugly head is truly worth our time.

Fact – 10% of all people with AIDS in the world are Nigerian

Fact – Nigerian has the 3rd most AIDS-infections in the world

Fact – Nigeria has 140 million people, it is the 8th most populous country in the world

It’s not hard to understand that they need help and we should help them.  Nigeria is aggresively trying to stop its AIDS epidemic.  Education, training, medicine…these have all been pouring into this African country in an effort to halt the spread of AIDS.

Separate topic, but follow me here – Nigeria (and also Kenya) have banned homosexual marriage.  We can all speculate on the reasons why, however, since none of us are NigerianAssemblymen let’s leave the topic alone as it will not serve to help Nigeria stop the spread of AIDS  (if you are and are a prince needing to get rid of several million dollars, please contact me ASAP).

Instead, let’s turn to the latest tactic of  the European Union’s Gay Army.  (I bet you didn’t know that they had a Gay Army.  Well, they don’t officially, but their methods are militant in that their goal is to kill people….keep reading to find out why).

The EUGA (Gay Army) has demanded that ALL Foreign Aid to Nigeria be suspended until their ban on Gay Marriage is lifted.

In plain English, the Gay Army is stating that they want more Nigerians to become infected with AIDS / HIV if they do not lift their ban on Gay Marriage.

Here’s a fact I left out earlier.  50% of Nigeria is Muslim and 40% Christian. You now have two choices to make as you judge the Nigerians.

A – They banned Gay Marriage to stop the spread of AIDS through promiscuous Gay Male Sex (still the fastest way to spread AIDS)

B – They banned Gay Marriage for religious reasons.

The Gay Activists have already judged the Nigerians and determined that they should literally die for this.  Painfully. Over the following decades as AIDS continues to spread through their people.

Shame on the EU and shame on Gay Activists everywhere who do not stand up to this.

barack obamaIn a few days, we will have the nation’s first black president.  (Hold the Chris Rock jokes about Bill Clinton being our firsy black president, this is a serious post.)  No one is exactly sure where President-Elect Obama stands on Gay Marriage.  He supported Gay Marriage and then he didn’t.  He promises to sign the Freedom of Choice Act no later than 1 PM on Tuesday  (he did say that this would be his first act), and yet he has invited Pastor Rick Warren to give the invocation at the inauguration.

Yes, Rick Warren, the family and traditional values outspoken minister.  The one who condemns gay marriage.

Then, to top it off, Pastor Warren has been invited to give the keynote speech at Ebeneezer Baptist Church in Atlanta on Martin Luther King Day.   This is extremely confusing to the way-left liberal activists.  You know the group.  Uber-left.  Marx quoting left.

What to do, what to do.  Wasn’t the election of President Obama the signal that America had shed our conservative, old-school trappings warrenand had now embraced the new, progressive world.  Yeah.  Hmmm.  What happened?

News flash.  Again.  America is conservative.

Another news flash.  Conservative means family and morals and standards. In every race, religion, creed and ethnicity.

Don’t bother writing me to complain, I’m busy getting ready for our historic, yet conservative, day.

More to come.

A fact that the Main Stream Media hid (and quite well) during the Prop 8 battle is the fact that up to 75% of Gay males in a “committed relationship” or a “marriage”  accept their partner having open sexual relations with another male.

It seems a little incredulous, so let me break it down so that we are all on the same page.

Robert and Gary are married.  Or deeply committed to each other.  They are “partners.”

It’s OK with Robert if Gary goes out and has sex with Fred.  And Gary thinks its OK if Robert has a sexual relationship with Martin.

You don’t believe me?  Ask David Benkof over at the Jerusalem Post. He wrote a column about it.  Here’s the highlights:

“…many male couples, including those in “marriages,” have arrangements with each other that allow for mutually agreed upon infidelity under certain circumstances…”

“…many gay couples are quite open about their mutually approved “adultery.”…”

“…Even gays and lesbians in monogamous relationships tend to see nothing wrong with consensual adultery, even when a couple has children. …”

The entire article is here.  Do you need more?  Perhaps David Nimmons is a big enough name for you.  You know, the founder of Manifest Love and a Gay Leader in New York.

In his book, The Soul Beneath the Skin, David cites numerous studies which document approximately 75%  of Gay Men in a “committed relationship” are not monogamous. They go out and have sex with other men.  And they both accept that.  Even when they have children in their “family.”

Remember Bob and Gary? And Fred?  And Martin?

That’s another reason why it’s Gay Marriage Gay Lifestyle is not OK.

I’d welcome your thoughts if they are on topic.  And if you want to say, “No, that’s not true,” then do some research first, perhaps contact David Nimmons (he’s Gay and will tell you the truth) or David Benkof (he got hate mail from Gays when he suggested that they try monogamy…and he is bi-sexual)

Stay tuned, much more to come.

Dec 10th was supposed to be an economic disaster for the United States.  The Gays stayed home!  Honestly, on Dec 9, I didn’t know what to do, because I thought that Wal-Mart, Target and grocery stores would all close.  Police and firemen wouldn’t protect us.  The power grid might fail.

Oh wait.  We have a 13 Trillion dollar a year Gross Domestic Product and, well, quite frankly, the Gay contribution is a drop in a bucket.  Remember, the entire Gay population is only 2%. Oh yeah, and they are breeding themselves out.  Kind of European, don’cha think?  Don’cha?

I’m kind of tired writing about it already.  So, I thought, maybe I won’t blog tomorrow. I’ll just go shopping at stores that support Marriage and Families.  Perhaps go to Leatherby’s and eat Ice Cream.  It turned out that the whole thing was a flop.  A handful stayed home.  Most realized that they didn’t want to punish their employers.  Or that they wouldn’t make a diference.  That’s what you get when you try and hijack real issues, like Illegal Immigration.  Nice try.

For real news, head over to the Kingfisher Column and read about real news.  MarriageFamiliesMorality.  And Religion.  You Know.  What 97% of us believe in.

Stay tuned, more to come.

This week marks one month since our historic election of 2008.  No, I am not talking about President-elect Obama, but rather, nearly 7 million Californians standing up for moral values and religious freedoms.  Yes, that’s what it boils down to.  Because, in spite of all of the discussions that have occurred around the legal and social aspects of Gay Marriage, it comes down to religion.  Studies released this week show that religious voters backed the Proposition overwhelmingly, which should not come as a surprise to anyone.

For those who openly profess their faith, and believe that Homosexuality is a sin, it was not a huge leap of faith to back up their beliefs with a vote.  We sometimes forget that 81% of Americans state that they are religious.  This means that in spite of movies, television and all the decay we see around us, we are still a conservative nation.

This is a fact that our foes who oppose religious freedoms do not want us to remember.  We have seen the mob tactics that the No on Prop 8 rabble rousers have used to intimidate, harass and assault (which are crimes) over the past month. And as every action has an equal reaction, we have seen a cohesiveness emerge as different faiths have stood together against the hate crimes that are being perpetrated by the Gay Marriage activists.

In the New York times today, a full page ad was run in response to the al-Gayda tactics that Gay Marriage Activists are using.  No longer will the silent majority stand by while religious persecution goes on in America.  The tide is turning back and we hope that soon the real waves of change will wash over the sordid filthiness of the Homosexual Crowd that is trying to destroy all that is good and moral.

More will come…
